We welcome any opportunity to teach your child about Jesus. We will be praying for you and your child. We are thankful that you allow us to minister to you and your child!

Parents we ask that whenever you bring your child to Sunday school or their Wednesday night activities that you register your child through our check-in system.

Preschool Ministry

Preschoolers at FBC are taught by a loving staff of volunteers. Each week they participate in seven different activity areas as they are taught using curriculum specifically designed for a child your age. Each child will play and interact with the teacher as they experience art, home living, nature, blocks, books, puzzles, and music.

Children’s Ministry

We have enlisted a group of dedicated caring teachers who are excited about teaching children. Our teachers plan activities, projects, fellowships and Bible studies with one goal in mind: to guide the children to discover God’s truths in creative ways in order to help them live it out during the week.
We do a variety of activities throughout the year just for fun! Each activity helps us to get to know each child and for the children to develop friendships with one another. Some of the activities include bowling, swimming, tubing
and trips to the movies. We also have Upward Basketball and Cheerleading available for children in kindergarten through 5th grade through December and February.

Preschool and children’s ministry is a partnership with our parents.

Parents are the greatest influence in their children’s lives. We want to work with parents in guiding their children to live a Christ- like life. Here are some things parents can do to prepare their children for that time the Holy Spirit works in their lives:
– Live in a manner that shows you are a Christian.
– Read the Bible and pray at home, and allow your child to see you.
– A family worship time is very important in developing and leading your child spiritually.
– Be consistent in your own church attendance, set the example.
– Be prepared to share your testimony and the plan of salvation.
– Listen when your child wants to talk.
– Answer questions simply and honestly, leaving the door open for discussion.
– Be patient and trust in God to do His work in His timing.
